I Feel a Craft Comin' On!

I got these babies at Hobby Lobby today for 90% off...29 cents and 39 cents! I'm thinking something valentiney (word?). It's been a good 3 or 4 weeks since I've had "craft time", and I am in dire need to be crafty! A girl can only go so long without modge podge and scrapbook paper and glitter! Wouldn't that little house make the cutest little fairy cottage? My wheels are a turnin'. I LOVE to hear from ya'll...my commenter friends! Let's dish about what we could make with these lovelies! Lay it on me. Gimme some LOVE!
Can you tell I have Valentine's Day on the brain?
I even wrote ya'll a little V-Day message on the chalkboard in the background!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO!

So I checked out your blog and I LOVE it, girl you are so talented!!! I think you need to start having craft nights and teach us how to do the amazing things you do. You have such a creative mind, I am a little green with envy. I LOVE all your glass jars, I can't wait until I have a house big enough to fill with fun crafts and decor.

Knowing you,I am expecting something fabulous and some ribbon, glitter, and pretty papers. I'm anxious to see what you come up with. Valentines Bags maybe?

Wouldn't those bags be super cute, if they were all prettied up and then maybe you could sit a vase or something inside, (doesn't matter you wont see it) and then have a big bunch of roses right at the top of the bag.

Isn't that the truth. I find when I can't sew or craft I start getting nervous. It calms me!! Have fun crafting. Can't wait to see it when you're finished.
Have a good day.

I so want a Hobby Lobby in my town. Perhaps God knows it would be a detriment to my finances Ü.

Coming over from SITS. I love crafts too, although with my 4 kiddos it has taken a backseat for a while.

How bout glaming the bags with Valentine paper, ribbon, etc. and then maybe spray paint some styrofom (sp?) hearts red and use them to fill the bags. You could put scrunched up grocery bags in the bottom of the bags so you wouldn't have to use so many hearts but they could be peeking out the top like you had just come back from shopping.....for hearts! :) Anyway, don't know if I explained that well enough so you can see it in your brain the way I do....:) Have fun and can't wait to see what you do with them!

wow, great buys! i can't wait to see what you create.

Oh, how I wish that Hob Lob was closer to my house, like maybe in the back yard. I'm sure you'll come up with some beautiful decorations for the bags. How about creating a beautiful bag for your family to leave each other notes of appreciation, compliments, or love notes that you can read on V-day?

I'm just not creative that way, I do enjoy using others ideas, though!!

Hey there! Lol at being famous. I emailed them last week about maybe doing a giveaway. I thought I would wait a bit and see how the That Family one went. Well, I got a last minute email from them saying their other giveaway store had website issues, and would I step in last minute? And so, lo and behold, there I am! Lol. I hope it is successful! I only opened my shop around Thanksgiving, so the going has been slow, but since the THAT Family giveaway I've gotten a few orders. Thank you for your sweet comment on SITS! You promoted me so well. I should hire you! I can pay in chocolate. Hmmm. The bags are calling for what else but scrapbook paper and ribbon! Although, I think you should put a giant cupcake on one. I have cupcakes on the brain. Lala's 1st B-day is Feb 16th and its cupcake theme. My brain has been lagging lately on blog posts, but I may just do one on cupcakes. =) So, like I said, a big cupcake out of 2 different papers, and a glittery heart for a cherry on top. You can do light pink and dark pink, and then mail it to me! Ha!!! You could be "Amanda, Crafter for Hire". I'm rambling at you now becasue I am tired and actually have some alone time.

TTYL!

I found your blog through The Nester and see you are from MS. I have spent the past few summers in Jackson. My husband is the Atlanta Braves AA manager for the MS-Braves. I really like MS. We will be there again this summer. I am from SC and live in TX now, so MS is almost like going back to my home state. Stop by my blog anytime.!
