Hidden Treasures!

Don't you just love it when you find stuff in your closet that you forgot you had? Well, I do. I had totally forgotten about this little card making kit I got at Target last year for 90% off. See that price at the top? It says 4.99, but I only paid 49 cents! Hooray for end caps full of clearance!!! That is a whole other subject right there. The end caps. Does anyone else get completely sucked into that vortex every time they go to Target? I LOVE the end caps. I could (and have many times) spent hours roaming around the store looking for yummy end caps full of cheap goodness! But, I'm getting a little off point here...so I'll bring it back home for ya.

Here are all the parts and pieces that came in the box. I know...that's some good stuff. I am especially loving all the glittered tags and such that I did not have to glitter, thus being totally and completely covered from head to toe in glue and glitter. I don't love that so much.

I made 8 cards and still have a bunch of stuff left over. You can't beat that for 49 cents! I never buy pre-made cards because I really enjoy making them myself. Ummmm, this is way better. And I'm totally counting them as homemade.
Sue me.

Oh dear friend, I am so glad you don't live close to me or I would be competing for the end caps with you! I got so many wonderful things off an end cap last week that I was on cloud 9.

About the cards, they are homemade! And they look great!

Most definitely love the Target end caps. I cleaned up there on 90% off stationery a few months ago. Love it!

And your cards are adorable. I'll email you my address so you can put one in the mail to me. ;-)

Adorable they are. I have an entired scrapbook/rubber stamp/card making store in my hall closet, so feel free to stop by anytime and help yourself. I am not getting around to it and it bums me out because there isn't nothing that makes ones day then going to the mailbox and seeing a hand made card. :)

Your blog puts me creativity to shame. I count "creative" as putting a bow on my top of a wrapped present.

;)

You are adorable, and inspire me to be great.

49 cents? Holy crap what a deal! I too am a lover of target end caps. I don't go to target as often as I would like. it is a whole 15 mins. away-on the freeway-so I could really make it there in 10. My husband hates it when I go there. He pretty much hates it when I go to any store's clearance isle! Too bad for him, he is stuck with me forever!!! I found some super cute stuff at the dollar store for v-day-super cute little jewelery boxes and such. I just love me a good deal! So-are you going to mail all of your valentines?

Adorable, you talented girl!
I very seldom venture down the full priced isles at Target, but yeah, have spent lots of time cruising the perimeter. It's quite the treasure hunt!

Too funny! These are cute and what a bargain! Yes, I have to admit, I do drool over all the markdown endcaps, usually spending an hour+ when I only went for a few things. I love a great bargain and bragging about a great bargain is fun too!!! Love those mailboxes, I haven't seen them at my Target though:(

What a great find!!! I am with you on the Target endcaps, they are wonderful. I cannot believe you found all of that for $. 49!!! The cards look so custom. They look so much better than a store bought card.

Have a good day.

Nicole~
