I started this blog with the hope that I might inspire other women to embrace their creativity. I am passionate about making my house a home, a safe haven, a place of beauty. In the past I've allowed my perfectionism to keep me from doing the things I love because they may not turn out perfect or I might fail. I am trying to let go of the notion that it has to be perfect to be beautiful. I want to be my own kind of beautiful. And I've come to the conclusion that I actually prefer beauty with flaws. Life is so much sweeter when we let go of those unrealistic ideals of what beauty is supposed to be. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey!
