I'm participating in Mod Podge Mania over at This Is The Year, hosted by Xazmin. You can imagine my excitement (I think I giggled like a school girl) when I heard that Xazmin was having a fun linky party honoring my bff...Mod Podge! So I scrambled to piece together some of my favorite MP projects. Many of you have probably seen most of these, but I wanted to share them again for those of you who missed them. Several of them have a link back to the project itself or a tutorial on how to do them if you're interested.
This initial plaque was my very FIRST attempt at MP. It was easy, cheap, and super duper cute!

Ahhhhh...one of my all time faves. These little blocks are so fun to make, and so versatile for just about any holiday. Click HERE to read about these blocks and some other cool projects you can make yourself on a shoe string budget.
For Valentine's Day I mod podged these cute mailboxes from Target's dollar spot. I ended up making several of these. They turned out so cute and became quite addictive. I posted a tutorial on how to cover them, and you can read it by clicking HERE.
VERY first custom order for wall letters... so exciting!
I HEART these adorable little birdies. Although, some people have told me they look like whales...they ARE birds. They are from Michael's and come 12 to a pack for 1.99. They are easy to cover and mod podge...anyone can do this. But if for some reason you would like me to do the work for you, I just happen to have some in my etsy shop that have been made into cute fridge magnets/note holders. (Shameless plug...I know)
I did a tutorial on how to make these altered clipboards. You can click HERE for that post.
These last 3 clipboards I will be listing in my etsy store tonight. They make such wonderful teacher gifts...school teachers, church teachers, piano teachers. I like to hang them on my wall as inspiration boards. They make a really cute grouping and you can clip pictures, magazine ideas, paint chips, samples, and more...great for a craft room or studio.

ReplyDeleteFYI: I tried clicking on your links to the other posts, but for some reason they didn't work. It may just be my computer, but thought I would pass that along just in case it wasn't.
This stuff is so cute! I really love the clipboards and the birds! Is there anything that mod podge and scrapbooking paper can't make cute? Adorable stuff!

ReplyDeleteYou're an MP queen! I always love your projects.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was just gonna say that you need to start offering those clip boards on your Etsy store, but you in your brilliance beat me to it. ;) Maybe you could even do a little gift set with the notebook and a card? :)
ReplyDeleteHow very kind and humble of you to share your clipboard tutorial. I made my own version and love using my fancy clipboards, but I also love your version.
ReplyDeleteGirl...you are MS. Modge Podge! Love all the clever ways you've used the stuff. I love MP but don't have near as many cute projects done as you do! Great Job! I'm going to check out your Etsy store....:)
ReplyDeleteWow, every single project is amazing! I love, love, love your mantle!!
ReplyDeleteEverything is darling. I think the little whales (sorry, "Birdies") are super cute.
ReplyDeleteI saw birds intitally, then someone pointed out the whale shape. Now I can't "un-see" it.

Oh, meant to tell you that I can totally give you the name and phone of the pharmacy who gave me the fanny cream for the baby. $4 beats a $90 prescription any day...it would be worth a shot! ;)

ReplyDeleteYou are so creative, and oh how I love those clipboards!! I thought about you a couple of weeks ago when I was going through a box. I found an icky brown clipboard, and thought this definitely needs some Mod Podge & scrapbook paper!! You have given so many cute ideas, I just love them all!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your projects! I think I may have to go dig out my mod podge. I haven't used it in a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteOne question. Where do you find the fantastic scrapbook paper. Every time I go to Micheals, I can't find anything that fantastic.
