Do you like easy projects? If you answered yes to that question, then this post is for you! Really, there is no need for pictures or detailed instructions here. Just cut a piece of fabric to fit.....and frame it. Simple as that. And if you really want to kick it up a notch (a la Emeril), add a monogram. I found a nice bold font I liked on my computer, enlarged it to about 500, printed it, and cut it out.

Why have I never thought of this before? I have a stack of fabric collecting dust and a boat load of frames lying around...WHY?

This is what I originally did with the photo tray I found on clearance at Target. I think I like it much better with the fabric. Oh, and by the way...my walls look peach in that first picture. Believe me...they are soooooo not! Just bad lighting...and a pitiful photographer. I need to go to camera school.

I have lots of pretty fabric stashed away. We're in the process of repainting our kitchen, then will repaint the dining room and living room too. I already have plans for some of that fabric to find its way into embroidery hoops and be hung on the wall. But I like this idea too, especially adding the monogram. Fantastic!

Great idea! Of course, with toille you can't go wrong!!! It reminds me of the embroidery hoops with fabric in them. Have you seen them? I believe Purl Bee started the trend. Someday I will make them, too.

This is such a great project, and I love that fabric! I hope you and your family are having a wonderful 4th!!
However do you cut out those letters? I cut some very simple square letters and it the end product was very "imperfect". I love the beautiful fonts that you use in your projects but don't know how I would cut them out to look good. Do you use special scissors?
What kind of paper did you use to print your letter? Did you use a cardstock? I have my fabric framed... and want to make the word FAMILY... and I'm stuck on what to make the letters out of!! HELP!
I sooo heart toile!! LOVE IT!! No, really love it!! My mother in-law just handed me down some curtains she had made in a khaki and white toile material for my dining room. When we build I plan on making long hanging curtains out of black and white toile!
