Country Living Furniture at K-Mart???

While enjoying my new issue of Country Living magazine this month I spotted an ad for a beautiful new line of furniture and accessories by CL. I was slightly (and by slightly I mean enormously) surprised to see that it was carried at K-Mart, of all places. I actually have an aversion to this particular store. When they closed their doors in our town several years ago, I did a little happy dance. I would venture to say they had the worst customer service of any store I've ever been to. So, I was reluctant to even give this a second glance. But...sadly, Country Living had me at hello and I could not resist their charms. Tonight I decided to check out this new line and I have to say.....it is lovely. And not to mention, extremely affordable. The whole line of furniture and accessories is on sale right now. I thought I'd share with you just a few of my favorite items
This desk/vanity would be beautiful with a beveled mirror above it and a cute crystal lamp on top. Perfect in my bedroom.
I love extra storage space, especially when it's pretty. Love that nailhead trim. Again...perfect for my bedroom.

This chair makes me swoon. I wish I could trust my family to have chairs like this at our dining table. Big fat chance of that! By the way, this chair is only $99...an amazing deal for such a beautiful chair. Maybe I could fit it into my bedroom somehow....hmmmmm?

This little side table is absolutely adorable. Can you see that shelf with the caning detail? I think it needs to come live in my bedroom as a nightstand. Do we see a theme here people?

I WILL have some of these distressed mirrored frames. Love, love, love them.

This is huge. I just happened to stumble onto these CL lanterns in the clearance section. They are 75% off, which makes them 12.49 and 8.74...originally $50 and $35. I have been wanting something similar to this for forever, but wasn't willing to pay Pottery Barn with my first born child. Have you priced these? A bit pricey, thankyouverymuch! So, if you're in the market for some cute lanterns for wicked cheap, head on over to the K-Mart. And check out Country Living's new line while you're there.

I avoid our K-Mart too. I'm going to have to go give it a look now though. These pieces are beautiful. Thanks for checking it out for us.

K-Mart? That really is a surprise. I haven't been in one in years; may have to give it a try. www.satisfiedsole.com

We had a great K-mart back in Tennessee. The one here...I stopped shopping there 10 years ago because it was just ~n.a.s.t.y.~. (I don't even know if it's still open!) You have persuaded me to at least try another one in the next town that is suppose to be better. :)

Who knew that K-Mart would actually have something like that?! Like you, I avoid that store as much as possible.

Hope you have a great week, Amanda!

Well, color me shocked! We actually STILL have a K-Mart. Every so often, I'll venture in if I want to take a look at the the homegoods...but I try to stay away. This may have convinced me to head over there soon and see if CL has any items there.

Even though I don't like Kmart, they do carry Martha's line and that's why I go there. Have to take a look at this collection :) thanks for the info.

Thanks for sharing! I also despise are nearby K-Mart... it's filthy. BUT, I might have to venture over to look at those side tables. I'm in need of new bedside tables too!

Love that side table! And I must have some of those frames! I also remember seeing a really pretty tray table in the same line.

K-Mart really stepped it up when they started carrying Martha Stewart's stuff. Although, I only check it out during Christmas to see what she has in her line for the season.

I will definitely have to go in this week and see what all they have. Our Kmart is pretty bad too.

I haven't been to KMart in FOREVA. I'm not even sure if we still have them here! :)
I'll be checking, though, because that stuff is adorable.

I know right? CL at Kmart? They have some really pretty things. I think I had to wipe up the keyboard from my drool the first time I went through every single CL item on their website. I am such a huge CL fan. Yeah for KMart - but truly, I agree - not the best customer service. And their store always seems messy to me. Ick. But CL....ahhhh. :)

They do have beautiful items but buyer beware of the bed linens. I purchased the blue set...I forget the name of the grouping...and after following directions and washing just once it faded big time. OS much for an almost $100 quilt.
