The Reveal

Hey gals! Sorry I've been MIA this week. It's been another one of those crazy busy, my plate is too full, kind of weeks. I just wanted to show ya'll real quick where the infamous birdcage ended up. I actually started to hate every single arrangement I came up with for the mantel the more I looked at the pictures. So for now the piano gets the privilege of holding "The Precious". You know by next week it will have a new home...that's just how I roll!

By the way, our cancelled craft show was rescheduled for next Sat, April 4th. So we're back on the crafting wagon and will be working our little fingers to the bone getting ready. We're so excited, but a little nervous. Why is it so personal? Why do I care if people like my stuff? Why am I stressing? I have no answers to these questions. I just needed to put it out there and get it out of my system.

I know...once again...I have issues.

Don't judge!

  1. High five! It looks aaammmmaaazzziiinnng! The best. I just love how you but the sign above the cage too. Looks fabulous! (And just so you know, I talk just how I type and when I typed "aaammmmaaazzziiiinnngg", I sort of sung it out. Hahah!)

So my sin-n-law and I are going to start doing craft shows as well. Our first is May 9th. We are making wooden signs and Scrabble tile pendents. I'm so incredibly excited! We are both involved with a huge juried craft show this weekend and are hoping to get a spot in their show this upcoming fall. I'm incredibly excited about doing craft shows. I totally know what you mean about being nervous though. But I am so sure people will like your things. I wish I could come!

  5. Looove it! I don't think you're weird at all for feeling nervous, but then again we are like twins separated at birth, so we could both just be crazy and not know it. ;) I certainly think you've got a creative flair goin' on!! :)

  9. Hello
I've been doing art shows for almost 10 years now and I still get nervous!
It is like putting a big part of yourself out there so there is a fear of rejection.
I hope you do really well.
    I enjoy your blog:)
